It is in the Windmill Centre on Clarens Square that you will find Artist's Café Family Restaurant ~ a beautifully  sandstone built restaurant in a majestic location.

We offer cozy indoor seating, with the fireplace burning warm in winter,

or cool comfortable outdoor seating where you can get lost in the views of the mountains and activities taking place on Clarens Square.

The Artist's Café is a daytime only Restaurant as we believe all our

Our guests are treated to a varied menu.

Our BREAKFASTS are THE BEST; our Boere Breakfast sees people returning again and again.Our breakfast menu also caters for the Englishman, the French, the Early Birds and every one in between.

Our LIGHT MEALS include home made Quiche, Grilled line fish, Chicken Schnitzel and our Famous Savory Pancakes.

We have a bread basket with something for every one from the usual Toasties to the healthy Open Sandwiches and then the not to be missed Roosterkoeke with different fillings.

Our GRILLS and snack platters come highly recommended as all our red meat is locally purchased, ripened and prepared to your liking.

For the SWEET TOOTH will be led into temptation by our captivating cakes all made in our own kitchen. Our waffles and country sized pancakes are baked fresh on order and are well worth the wait.

The Artist's Café is fully licensed and has a kiddies menu. Mellow music and plenty of original art through out the building hold interest for the adult customers, while the shady playground with farmstyle, play on toys, including a complete antique red tractor to climb on will keep the children happy. (a favorite photo spot for adults and kiddies alike)
